I really enjoyed your show Friday night at Joe's Pub. I particularly liked the song that your father-in-law wrote for your husband. Is that available on CD or download?
Thanks so much

Hi Jamie,
I am a good friend with DiAna Pisarri who is obsessed with you :). She had your number but I figured this would put you on the spot less.
I am putting together a jazz show which will be at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in May and I have fallen IN LOVE with "Satisfy Your Soul" and would love love love to get to sing it in my show. If that's possible I'm actually going to name my show "Satisfy My Soul" because the song inspired me so much.
So, I would love to talk with you about the possibility of doing that. DiAna also said you were a wonderful voice teacher and it would be great to get to coach the song with you - so you can feel good about it going out into the world too :).
If you're not into other people singing your songs that's totally fine, I just wanted to check because you're on repeat on my ipod :).
Thanks!
Erin

Jamie, THE TRUTH ABOUT SUFFERING is amazing! I will tell everyone to buy it. I can't remember the last time I listened to a CD that was so honest, so insightful, so beautiful and so profound in meaning upon the first listen. So many times, I felt you were digging at feelings I have all the time. Thank you. You are a remarkable singer/songwriter, and you and Michael are making magic, including, apparently, a new baby, which I hope has been miraculously beautiful for the both of you. I'm so grateful you gave me your CD, and I am a fan for life, darling. I can't wait to hear you again live and buy your next one. If you ever decide to teach, I would jump.

Hey Jamie,
It's been a while and still no west coast appearances? I thought for sure by now you would have a couple under your belt... If you do make it to Los Angeles you should look into a jazz cafe named "Steamers" in the city of Fullerton as a possible venue. It's comfy, personal and real jazz lovers go there so it should make for a great time. Here is their website address: http://www.steamerscafe.com/
Let me know if you do!!!
Take care,
Mangione Mitchell

I first heard your music at, of all things, a memorial service for a friend. I bought your CD the next day. Now when I listen I think of my friend, of course, but there is more joy and wonder at your marvelous voice and melodies that stick with me. Why aren't you a huge star?

Area: ahhh- an oldie but such a goodie- and I love the quieter, statelier arrangement for the new CD- it really centers and grounds a song whose buoyancy and exuberance get us all dancing but which has a beautifully nuanced serious "message"- so lovely to hear the evolution of this tune- the joy and fun and lightness are still there but now the depth and gravity are enhanced- and the combination makes for a simultaneously exhilarating and meditative listening experience- how's that for an encomium? You know I could never speak a deleterious word about you but you also know I always speak my heart and tell you what I really think- and what I really think is that you're the most talented singer I know with gorgeous and haunting and irrestistible songs that lift and inspire and teach and delight me- love love love you Skilloo
